Praise Cathedral's Pastoral Staff

Senior Pastor Michael Grove
My wonderful wife Pam and I have been married for over 28 years. We have three beautiful daughters, Heather, Hannah and MacKenzie. We also have a precious granddaughter Madison.
I became licensed with the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.) in 1990 and have served in the pastoral ministry with my wife and family for over 18 years. In 1999 the Lord opened the doors to become the Senior Pastor of Praise Cathedral and our family moved to North East. You will find my wife leading our exceptional Praise & Worship Team every Sunday, and you'll find my girls on the puppet stage during every Kid's Fest!
We believe Praise Cathedral to be one of the greatest Churches a person can be a part of. The caring, loving, and giving people of our Church inspire me to do my best for God's Kingdom. We are here to serve and lead our community and would extend a warm welcome to all those searching for a place to belong.

My wife and I are delighted to be serving you here at Praise Cathedral. We have only been here a short time, and already you have received us as family. Thank you!
Before joining your staff, I served two years in the office of Times Square Church as well as five years as a missionary overseeing interns for Mount Zion, the Bible school of David Wilkerson. Dzifa and I are both alumni of Mount Zion and I was licensed under that ministry in 2009.
We both share a passion for helping God's people reach their full potential in serving Him. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. We are here for you.

Ever since I was 4 years old I always knew I wanted to be a missionary. With several missionaries in the family I grew up with exciting tales from around the world. And after spending a few years in Jamaica, a year in the Philippines, a summer trip in Italy, Austria and Germany, a short term missions trip in Chile, and a summer internship in Toronto, Canada, God has finally brought me back home to work on our own mission field here at Praise Cathedral. I am both honored and excited for the ministry opportunities at hand, right here. This truly is the place to BE.
